Brief

At HEX Studio I led brand design for Wrangle, an AI recruiting platform that lets teams source candidates in natural language, engage them at scale and interview with intelligence.

At heart the subject matter was networks: people, connections and the paths between them. The risk was landing in the same cold, technical register as every other hiring tool.

The brand needed to make those networks feel human and alive rather than mechanical and to do it with enough distinctiveness to stand apart in a crowded category.

Outcome

The answer was an illustration-led language built around the network itself. Connections were rendered as spatial 3D forms, then pushed further into natural formations, such as flowers, mountains or organic structures that grow rather than compute.

Built as a flexible language rather than a fixed set of assets, it could stretch across product, marketing and social while staying coherent.

The result was an identity that felt human and expressive yet stayed unmistakably about networks and connection, the core of what Wrangle does.
